De două ori argint și bronz pentru România, la haltere, la Mondialele de juniori din Columbia
România a cucerit patru medalii, două de argint și două de bronz, la Campionatelor Mondiale de haltere pentru juniori U17, de la Cali Col, din Columbia.
În limitele categoriei 48 kg, Adelina Maria Lorint, legitimată la CSM Bistrița, a obținut două medalii de argint - la stilul smuls, cu 74 kg, și la total, cu 164 kg. La stilul aruncat, Lorint a ocupat locul 4, cu 90 kg, după ce a ratat prima încercare, la 88 kg.
Tot la 48 kg, Maia Delia Andrei, legitimată la CS Botoșani, a câștigat BRONZUL, la smuls, cu 73 kg, după ce a ratat prima încercare la această greutate. Ea s-a clasat pe locul 5, la aruncat, cu 88 kg, iar la total, a ocupat locul 4, cu 161 kg.
La 77 kg, Flavia Hreapca a obținut medalia de bronz la stilul smuls, cu 88 kg, după ce a ratat cea de-a treia încercare la 91 Kg, care ar fi poziționat-o pe primul loc al clasamentului.
La stilul aruncat, Flavia a terminat pe locul 7, după ce a ”aruncat” 105 kg la prima încercare, dar a ratat încercările de la 108 kg și 110 kg, iar la total, a fost pe 5, cu 193 Kg.

Two silver and two bronze medals for Romania at the Junior World Weightlifting Championships in Colombia
Romania won four medals — two silver and two bronze — at the U17 World Weightlifting Championships in Cali, Colombia.
In the 48kg category, Adelina Maria Lorint, representing CSM Bistrița, won two silver medals: in the snatch, with 74kg, and in the total, with 164kg. In the clean and jerk, Lorint finished fourth with 90kg, after missing her first attempt at 88kg.
Also in the 48kg category, Maia Delia Andrei, representing CS Botoșani, won BRONZE in the snatch with 73kg, after missing her first attempt at that weight. She finished fifth in the clean and jerk with 88kg and fourth overall, with a total of 161kg.
In the 77kg category, Flavia Hreapca won the bronze medal in the snatch with 88kg, after missing her third attempt at 91kg, which would have placed her at the top of the standings.
In the clean and jerk, Flavia finished seventh after successfully lifting 105kg on her first attempt, but missing her attempts at 108kg and 110kg. She placed fifth overall, with a total of 193kg.
