Președintele Comitetului de Organizare Paris 2024 Tony Estanguet a subliniat importanța acestui seminar în pregătirea sportivilor lumii pentru Jocuri:

„Seminarul Șefilor de  Misiune joacă un rol esențial în pregătirea Jocurilor deoarece în spatele fiecărui atlet stă un Comitet Olimpic Național, iar Șefii de Misiune dețin o responsabilitate vitală în succesul echipelor națiunii lor. Timp de cinci zile s-au discutat elemente esențiale care să-i ajute pe Șefii de Misiune să-și pregătească atleții pentru Paris 2024. Asigurarea unei experiențe olimpic fără probleme pentru sportivi și anturajul lor va fi cheia succesului Jocurilor. Paris 2024 va oferi șansa unei sărbători sportive unice!”

Reprezentanții CNO-urilor au primit informații esențiale pentru sportivii lor, dar vor transmite și entuziasmul și viziunea Jocurilor Paris 2024  de anul viitor.

Florin Mișca, secretarul general adjunct al COSR, a declarat: „Seminarul Șefilor de Misiune din acest an prevede o ediție a Jocurilor cu multe inovații care vor marca începutul unei noi ere.

Ediția din 2024 va oferi Mișcării Olimpice un nou model durabil de organizare a Jocurilor, păstrându-le caracterul distinctiv și grandoarea în același timp adaptându-le pentru viitor. În același timp, sloganul „Games Wide Open” este pus în acțiune, extinzând experiența olimpică pentru sportivi, oficiali și fani, cu diverse oportunități pentru aceștia de a se cufunda în magnifica artă și cultură franceză.”

Seminar of Chefs de Mission for Paris 2024

During the seminar held this month in Paris, the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (ROSC) was represented by the Chef de Mission for next year's Games, Florin Mișcă, and the Deputy Chef de Mission, Dragoș Tătaru. They will ensure the leadership of Team Romania delegation at the competition.

Important topics related to this trip were discussed, including accommodation, tickets, transport and ceremonies. They also had the chance to visit both competition and non-competition venues in Paris and the surrounding region to familiarize themselves with the city and the conditions for the athletes, while gathering information to prepare the delegation for the Games.

The President of the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee, Tony Estanguet, emphasized the importance of this seminar in preparing the world's athletes for the Games: “The Heads of Mission seminar plays a critical role in the preparation of the Games because behind every athlete stands a National Olympic Committee and Chefs de Mission hold a vital responsibility in the success of their nation's teams. Ensuring a great Olympic experience for athletes and their entourage will be key to the success of the Games. Paris 2024 will offer the chance for a unique sporting celebration!”

NOC representatives received essential information for their athletes, an they expressed their excitement and vision of next year's Paris 2024 Games. Florin Mișca, Deputy General Secretary of ROSC, said: "This year's Chefs de Mission Seminar foresees an edition of the Games with many innovations that will mark the beginning of a new era. The 2024 edition will provide the Olympic Movement with a sustainable new model for organizing the Games, preserving their distinctiveness and grandeur while adapting them for the future. At the same time, the 'Games Wide Open' slogan is put into action, expanding the Olympic experience for athletes, officials and fans, with various opportunities for them to immerse themselves in the magnificent French art and culture."
